The Google My Business is a service that allows you to create a ” Online Business ” on Google, with this business, you can share important information about your business, which will appear in both Google searches and Google Maps, increasing the reach of your business.
It works as follows: Let’s say someone searches for Mario’s Store, which has an ad in Google My Business, the customer will get as a search result showing the location of the store and the address on Google Maps. The person will also see the phone number of Mario’s Shoe Store, once they are using their cell phone to do the search, they can easily call the store with just one click. The customer will also receive information such as Mario’s Shoe Store hours of operation, including any special holiday hours and the URL of their website and the Facebook page.
The ad in Google My Business, can contain photos and comments, which can encourage “internet users” to become customers, photos are important because they help people visualize the company and get comfortable with it. They can see what the inside of the store looks like, for example, and may recognize the storefront when they arrive at the location.
Advertisements with photos receive 42% more location requests and 35% more clicks on company websites than ads without photos. So, it’s a good idea to take some pictures of your store.
What if someone searches for “places to buy shoes” instead of ” Mario’s shoe store” ? Well, that’s all right. If a person who is in the locations searches for a topic related to a Google My Business ad, the company and its information will still show up in the searches.
